Container characteristics
Outer casing: anodized aluminum, highly resistant to UV rays, humid climates and coastal areas.
Mantle: its innovative design of cold rolled steel (low carbon steel), 1.5 mm thick, for the closed circuit guarantees its stable operation even with frost and at the same time protects the collectors from the risk of clogging by salts.
Thermal insulation: expanded ecological polyurethane, 50 mm thick and high density (43 kg / m3) that provides the consumer with more hot water for use, minimizes heat loss and maintains the temperature of hot water, even if the outside temperature is 30 ° C below zero.
Inner container: 2.5 mm thick, low carbon steel, in accordance with DIN 4800-5. This means twice the resistance of the tank to mains pressures compared to most common solar water heaters, over time and in areas with peculiarities in water quality.
Container protection: achieved with Duro Smalt Elastic. This innovative method of protection is considered the most appropriate for its resistance to very hard water and its elastic properties allow it to follow the contractions-expansions of the tank thus avoiding the risk of cracks created in most tanks with different enamel protection.
Cathodic protection: magnesium anode for effective internal protection against corrosion and deposition of salts caused by electrolysis reactions.
Electrical resistance up to 4 kW: made of copper according to the regulations of the country of destination. (Optional, for use of electricity as an auxiliary energy source).
Safety thermostat: four-pin bipolar.
Collector features
Profile: has 4 ventilation holes that are covered in a completely watertight way so that rainwater is not allowed to enter.
Selective absorber: copper channels (∅10 and ∅22) with selective titanium coating, which are self-bonded by the Ultrasonic method. With this innovative welding method, absolute heat transfer is achieved and allows the solar collector to have the highest possible efficiency and durability.
Frame: anodized aluminum, highly resistant to adverse conditions.
Special safety glass: unbreakable Tempered glass (3.5 mm thick) for high permeability and durability, resistant to adverse weather conditions (eg hail, extreme temperature changes).
Thermal insulation: strong side and back insulation (20 mm fiberglass & 35 mm rock wool), which minimizes heat loss in areas with low seasonal temperatures.
